Ralph Breaks the Internet is set to debut in theaters this November 21st, so it should come as no surprise that guests will have new opportunities to meet the Wreck-It Ralph series’ two stars throughout the Disney Parks.
Here is where you’ll be able to find Ralph and Vanellope in the very near future:
While vacation we noticed a cast member friend at PizzeRizzo has reported that “they were told today the restaurant is closing permanently around October 20.”
For those who are not aware, PizzeRizzo is the Quick Service restaurant near Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano that used to be Pizza Planet. The restaurant has two levels and tons of seating including a large outdoor patio which overlooks the Grand Avenue area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
There is all kinds of speculation on the boards of what could be going on from a menu rework – which many would agree needs to happen – to a complete rehab including re-theming. Some posters have even suggested that the restaurant may somehow become a part of the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, although that would involve a whole lot of changing up, so there are a lot of doubts on it too.
Earlier this year, Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom had no availability for Advanced Dining Reservations to be made between the dates of August 20 and August 24, 2018, due to a short refurbishment.
It appears as though that refurbishment was cancelled as there are now all kinds of available dining times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all of those dates.
If you’re going to be at the Walt Disney World Resort during that week and want to give the brand new Prix Fixe Dinner Menu a try, hurry and call (407) WDW-DINE, head over to the official Disney website or your My Disney Experience app, and secure your reservations now.
A soft, sweet, end of summer beach dream is the best way to describe today’s utterly gorgeous Galveston Texas beach wedding. With a hand in a little bit of everything, conceived a chic fairytale beach side wedding that takes note of some of the more sophisticated detail points the ocean gives us. Working with a cool seaside palette of minty greens, light steely blues, and crisp pale peach, the team put together a tablescape that was all kinds of swoon worthy. Utilizing elements like driftwood, gold candles, and woven chargers, a beachside sweetheart table spelled all kinds of romance. Dialing up the chic for this beach wedding, a vintage lounge was set featuring a velvet settee and surf side bar. There is something extra crave worthy about this Galveston Texas beach wedding, from the dialed up romance to the refined elegance, its aces all around! Toy Story Land to Open June 30The all-new Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World Resort, inspired by Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story films, will open June 30, 2018. Guests in Toy Story Land – located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – will feel like they have shrunk to the size of a toy as Woody, Jessie, Buzz, Slinky Dog, the Aliens, Green Army Men and other fun-loving Toy Story characters come to life in the larger-than-life outdoor setting of Andy’s backyard.
Toy Story Land will also celebrate what once defined entertainment for a generation. Crayons, Rubik’s Cubes, Cooties, Green Army Men and other toys and games will pour on the nostalgia for park-goers. Even the lampposts will be shaped like Tinkertoys.
Woody’s Lunch Box will serve up meals and old-fashioned soda floats from a walk-up window in a setting surrounded by Andy’s favorite toys and a giant vintage thermos.
Slinky Dog Dash – Andy has assembled his roller coaster kit for maximum family fun. Tracks and supports in bright colors of red, orange, yellow and blue are put together according to Andy’s hand-drawn plans, with Rex and Jessie lending a hand. And to complete his creation, Andy picked up everyone’s favorite floppy-eared dachshund with a strrrrretch-ing slinky coil belly and dropped it on to the coaster track.
Alien Swirling Saucers – This galactic space toy is designed as a play set that Andy won at the Pizza Planet restaurant. Toy Story green Aliens swirl about in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket-ship toys, while “The Claw” hangs overhead. This space adventure is bathed in music reimagined for intergalactic fun, dappled with multi-color lighting and sound effects from throughout galaxies.
Toy Story Mania! – This attraction gets an all-new colorful toy carnival game box entrance when the new land opens. In fact, this is the box that the Toy Story Mania! game came in. Recently updated with a third track, the popular attraction will put even more guests in the carnival playset action taking aim at 3D objects – using everything from baseballs to cream pies.

After years of speculation, it now looks like Disney has finally settled on a new name for Hollywood Studios and it doesn’t seem to be a popular one.
Back in 2015, after being asked by a six-year-old if the company planned a name change, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that one was in the works; "It's not announced. We used to be MGM Studios; we changed to Hollywood Studios and" … "We'll announce that we're changing the name, but we won't announce what we're changing it to. How's that?"
The off-the-cuff remarks by Iger at the shareholder meeting didn’t come as much of a surprise. The name change had been rumored for some time at the park that was shifting away from a behind-the-scenes look at how movies are made, to a more Universal Studios-style "ride the movies’" focus. We'll see this soon in the highly immersive Star Wars land now under construction at the park.
